Official Statement From Lennox's Family:

    We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all again for your messages of support. We are sorry to say at the present time Belfast city council seem to be intent on killing our boy. Despite previous assurances otherwise, we have been denied the opportunity to say goodbye. We have also been told that we cannot collect his body and bring Len home. We have been informed however that we will receive "some" ashes in the mail.

What a shameful, shameful thing to do to an innocent dog and his beloved family.

I just looked up his story. So sad. Rest in peace sweet Lennox.

To kill an innocent dog based on his looks!  What kind of imbecilic thinking is that.  Sometimes the world we live in turns my stomach.  It sounds as if they wanted him dead and nothing was going to get in their way.  RIP Lennox.

This whole thing is so sad. The way they have treated Lennox and his family is barbaric  .

I can't bring myself to read about him, but I saw a post of him on the net and heard the news.  Even just on the periphery, I feel horrified by what has happened to him.
