Because she has fallen for a wet nose.

Peg,
So does your friend intend to just let 'lil Molly' pee on the floor and then get all mad about it??
MarySmith

Laurie

That really sucks! >:( Your friend probably just realized that Molly likes you better than she does her.

MarySmith

Peg,

Could your friend have been reading this thread?

The "Idiot" did not even have the nerve to tell me in person.
She lives across the street from me and she left me a voice mail on my cell?????
Could not even call my house???????

Sorry.....rapid rises in blood pressure are not good...........

I can not go into all the details but when I saw her out tonight with Molly I went and asked her what was up.
She told me that a neighbor saw Molly and I outside and Molly was having a great time.  The "Idiot" does not want Molly to become attached to me.

I feel for Molly
I feel for Oreo the cat
And no Mary......she's "too good for something like Itchmo"  !!!!!!!!!  Wants no part of the link or forum   ::)

People should be the ones to be licensed for pet ownership NOT the other way around....................

Can't talk to her right now   >:(   >:(    >:(
I quit spitting dog biscuits and now am spitting nails

Molly will be crated.....I also was told that she is crated even when they are home.....Can't even see straight..................arrrrrrgggghhhh

peg

I used to think that anyone doing anything weird was weird. I suddenly realized that anyone doing anything weird wasn't weird at all and it was the people saying they were weird that were weird.

Mandycat

Why did she even get the dog?  Doesn't sound like she wants to interact with it, so what was the point?  Poor Molly.    >:(

catwoods

So sorry it worked out this way, peg, very sad for you and Molly. :(

MarySmith

Peg,

What was your 'friendship' with this neighbor like before Molly came to live with her? Was she this 'upetty' in her attitudes toward you? It is such a shame that little Molly is the one who is really being deprived of 'comfort' by this neighbor's nasty attitude!

I feel so sad for this poor little doggy. (and for Peg too.)

Why do people get pets if they don't really want them around, don't want to deal with them?  Do they see this dog as just an ornament, like a new rug or something?

Bridgett

Wow that is really heartbreaking. :'(  I am sorry this has happened.  What a strange person to be jealous of a potty walk.  Molly won't be able to hold it all day, if that is what your "friend" is thinking.  Molly will go in her crate.

I agree with you all and am so worried about Molly and how all this human stupidity will affect her behavior.

12 degrees outside this morning and the "Idiot" was out with poor Molly who had nothing but her "fur coat" on.  Poor thing was shivering so badly.....I don't think she could have piddled if she wanted too.

This is the same friend who I have always cat sat for, when she takes almost the whole summer off and the family goes away.  Never charged her a dime for my services.....all I ever expect is a thank you.  It was like a vacation for her cats too, when they went away.........he he he.  She's down to one cat now.

DH is telling me I need to chill out with this.  I told DH, I'm worried about Molly more than the friendship which was always a bit one sided anyway.

catbird....funny you mention ornaments.  The day she brought Molly home, all she did was carry her around outside.  I asked her if she was pretending she was Paris Hilton........I don't hold back......she was might annoyed at that comment from me.

db is right.....This just sucks big time

Arlo

Peg, that sucks bigtime!  I have a little poodle mix named Peaches I brought home from the shelter I volunteer at.  Some morons dropped her off because they got new furniture and she didn't match anymore. I bet they got a new dog that does match!  Your Paris Hilton comment was perfect I might add.  Poor little baby dog with a human like that.

Bridgett

Daisy also came from a similar situation.  Her previous owner was a teenage girl and Daisy's previous name was Tamara.  Yes, who names a dog Tamara but a Paris Hilton?  Daisy's foster mom talked the girl's mother in to giving Daisy up.  Basically, Daisy was kept in a crate until she was 5 months old.  She wasn't abused or anything like that, just neglected.  The girl just wanted a purse dog.  Daisy never got to be a puppy...until she became mine.
