I had a neighbor one time that left their poor cat outside by itself when they traveled in their RV for 2-3 weeks at a time.  The poor thing always ended up in my back yard starving so I would feed it.  This went on for over 3 years.  I would see the RV gone and knew to expect the kitty any day.  One time the RV was gone for almost a month, kitty was well fed in my back yard, friends at work were looking for a kitty, and you know the rest of the story.....

Nabiya, good for you! Get that kitty out of the situation!

People like that, and Peg's neighbor, shouldn't be allowed to have pets.

Quotepoor cat outside by itself when they traveled

Neighbors will most of the time ask us to watch their dogs when they go away, but there are times when we hear her out there all day and night no one home, wife goes over there and lets her out, gives her food and water, but there are times, if we didn't have so many here, that we think of taking her, or bringing her to the animal shelter. Small town here, neighbors would probably find out it was us.

I used to think that anyone doing anything weird was weird. I suddenly realized that anyone doing anything weird wasn't weird at all and it was the people saying they were weird that were weird.

That was the second kitty I "stole".  The first one was stolen from an office complex where I worked, they were closed on the weekends and no one would feed it; and during the week they fed it the employees leftover lunches like salami and fortune cookies.  "My" cat then lived to be over 21 years old.....

I wish we could do something like that for Molly.  Good dog going to waste on worthless people.

As much as I 'like' to think those thoughts, better be careful what one posts - it may come back to 'haunt' you later.

My plan is to patiently wait this one out.
She ran home from work today and was looking like a raving lunatic, as she only gets 1/2 hour for lunch.

According to a mutual friend, Molly wouldn't go at lunch.

When the "Idiot" came home this afternoon, poor Molly had gone in her crate and there wasn't even paper in there!!!!! >:(

Mutual friend says the idiot will probably contact me sooner than later.........

Laurie

Only a matter of time............. ;D

I'm not worried, I would never be stupid enough to post my real name here....
(Maybe this will prompt JustMe to post as she should reprimand me for this)

JustMe is making us sweat this one out

Kinda like a cat.....you never know what they'll do from one minute to the next

meow.............. ;)

Orange Fuzzball

Wow, what a [female canine]. I've known six year olds who behave with more maturity.  >:(

I have a feeling Molly will not be with her for too long; she'll get frustrated that Molly acts like a dog instead of a stuffed toy. Waiting it out sounds like a good plan.

Peg,
You know all of us here would love to have a neighbor like you who we could count on to take our dog for a mid-day walk.  And we wouldn't be jealous either.  Let's hope she does come to her senses.

MarySmith

Since she already had had cats, she probably didn't realized when she got Molly that dogs require WALKING to do their 'business' rather than just doing it in a 'litter pan'. But since she won't admit that she made a 'mistake', its poor Molly that must be punished for not behaving like a 'good little kitty'.!!

And I wasn't suggesting that we actually do something like that.  It was wishful thinking.  I feel so bad for Molly.

And remember, one does not have to post a real name, one's ISP numbers are enough to track someone down if the crime is serious enough. ie one can be anonymous to other posters on the internet, but one is never anonymous to law-enforcement.
