strange email from Timberwolf Organics

petslave thanks for the memory refresher. I knew it either didnt have anything organic in it and they were using that and people bought it because they thought it had (I always read all the ingredients on anything each time I even think about buying) and it didn't at all.

And chicken fat that came from who knows where (the oil left over after dozens of fast food places dumped the old into those 55 gal. drums) that sit out in all kinds of weather before being picked up?

Never tried this food and it probably has other things in it that are on my never feed list for my dog.

Right, the ingredients were never organic.  I have no idea why they felt like it was appropriate to use the term "organic."  At one time it did seem to be a quality product, but I remember that they changed the formula a few times but were still using the old bags so the new formula/ingredients were not disclosed right away and that of course caused problems.  That's around the time that I gave up on them.

I stopped using this food, but before I did I also noticed lack of interest in recent batches while previously it was eaten quite enthusiastically. The reason I stopped is that they claimed that the formula itself didn't change, but the label on the bags did to comply with regulation, i.e. dehydrated potato instead of potatoes, but there were quite a few additions that couldn't be explained this way, like addition of ground cinnamon. I don't like being lied to, so with all the secrecy about manufacturing plant that was it for me.

Ground cinnamon - how many pets would be enthused to eat food with this as an ingredient? My dog does not like cinnamon so if that would be in a food I wouldn't buy it in the first place. Too much cinnamon can cause its own problems as I read on a site but that was over a year ago and do not remember where. Maybe naturalnews site..
