I always laugh when places that don't get much snow can't deal with it.

It's funny you say that bug, any snow, sleet, freezing rain and our town shuts down.  These people around here FREAK at the thought of the of any cold wet stuff other than rain.

Wonderful pictures of Eppie enjoying the snow.

Tesla, I remember when they shot the movie "New in Town" and it was probably -35 for the entire shoot. Renee Zellweger saw that it had snowed a lot and the snow covered the streets. She thought, OK, I guess there's not going to be anything going on that day because we couldn't get around. She was really surprised to learn that we do drive on the snow-covered roads. We don't always break out the plows. Freezing rain is far more of a concern because of what it does to power lines. Thankfully, it's a rarity around here.
My little babies, you'll always be in my heart. Mom will see you later. Look after each other, ok?

JJ

bug be thankful your not having freezing rain. But we deal with it best we can - stay off the roads if you do not need to drive.
May your troubles be less,
Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door

Oh, how cute!  He made a cuddly little nest in there.

Oh Oscar, you are truly a handsome, cute, cuddly catboy   :-*

You have melted my heart............   :D

Miss Rikers is chirping at your picture  ;)

How do you feel about older catgirls?   ;D

Oscar is the burrower of the group, likes to go under blankies, tunnel inside jackets, etc. His expression is often that serious, "lost in thought" look - probably scheming what he can get into next he he. As far as the lady-cats older or not are concerned, he likes them all....as long as he can be the boss. He is such a sweetheart with us, but tries to rule over other cats. My little Osc has had an alpha-cat complex from day one. Would Miss Rikers put up with his catitude ? Or would she set him straight in short order?    ;D

I will try to get pics of the other kitties
