Happy Birthday, to both you & Champ!  Hopefully this is a new beginning to better days for him. 

What are you treating with & for now, Jewel, that has made such a big difference?  The poor guy has been through so many different diagnoses & meds I can't keep up with the latest.  Whatever it is, it must finally be the right diagnosis & treatment for him since he's doing so much better.  Best wishes & prayers on continued improvement for Champ!

I started off treating Champ's wounds with the Medihoney....it helped alot, but ran out quickly.
I found a new product at Walgreen's called StaphaSeptic...it's for people with MRSA(?)...It's made with large amounts of Teatree oil....It works great and has healed his sores and dried them all up completely.

For his ears...I have used Pellatol(?)...it really took care of the infection inside of his ears...
I now use the Blue Mixture(Gension Violet,Alcohol, and Boric Acid Powder all mixed together) once a day.
His Hematoma is gone completely and his ears are slowly starting to stand up again....

My vet felt that the Atopica was effecting Champ's kidneys among other things so he decided to take him off for right now until we can get the skin infection under control....

His meds that he is on are: Keflex(antibiotics), Soloxin(thyroid meds), benedryl...multi vit..and extra vit E and Fish Oil Caps.....

His conditions:
Pemphigus..treated with the Atopica(currently not using)
Thyroid...treated with Soloxin 2xs dly

Here's one pic that I snapped with my phone last night...we were outside on the deck..and Dad got up to go inside...

Champ is waiting patiently at the door for Dad to come back...

At the same time he's giving me a handshake yet still concentrating on the door....LOL
