I'm glad the people who provided the service were so thoughtful. Glad she's back where she belongs.

My little babies, you'll always be in my heart. Mom will see you later. Look after each other, ok?

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.

Oh Mandycat, I am so sorry to read this.  I know with KiKi, she was our only pet at the time she died, and our house was so quiet, it was so very hard.  We also cut some of her fur to keep and to this day, I open up the baggie it is in, and can smell her familiar scent.   You and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers.  Little Mandy is free of pain and chasing after butterflies now.

Sending you much warmth and many, many hugs, Mandycat.

Mandycat, I wanted to check in and see how you have been holding up.  You are in my thoughts.

Mandycat

Thank you for asking, Sandi.  We miss our sweet Mandy so very much!   :'(  My daughter and granddaughter have been visiting for the last 11 days, so that was a distraction that helped keep my mind off of missing her so much.  However, there are still so many little things that come up throughout the day that remind me of the little routines that have been a part of my life for so many years.  I have to then remind myself that I don't have to do that anymore and it brings on a really empty feeling.  It is hard to explain, but I am sure that anyone who has ever lost a beloved pet understands what I mean.

Big hugs coming to you and DH ! The empty house and extra time are unfortunately a constant stab in the heart.

I know exactly what you mean Mandycat.

Ugh, I hated those empty house sounds, I know what you mean Mandycat.  Sending you lots of {{{hugs}}}.

I really understand what you mean, MandyCat.  When we lost Elvis and Davey we were so used to watching them 24/7, doing fluids, feeding, that it suddenly felt like we had nothing to do.  {{{hugs}}}
