I'm so glad to hear he seems to be doing better. I hope this trend continues.
My little babies, you'll always be in my heart. Mom will see you later. Look after each other, ok?

Trudy, I am so glad to hear that Jesse is recovering!  Thank you for the update.

Well, I got Jessie to the vets. I could tell he was distressed. While we were in the exam room and I took him out of the carrier, he threw up on the floor. He has not done that since the first time. and there was fresh blood in it. the vet checked it out and had Jessie walk across the floor. Actually, he just wanted to curl up in a ball? But then he did walk around/.
the vet put him on the table and looked his mouth all over. then he checked every part of his stomach.
He is not really sure it's an ulcer, just that something bad is going on. with most cats at this point and at his age, he would put them down. But he knows this is my heart cat, my baby. he is still trying to keep cost down, because he knows we don't have the money.
so we talked about options.
anyway, he is going in on mon morning and having the thing that goes down the throat. He is going to take a sample of his esophagus and his stomach to send off.
this is very dangerous because of the anesthesia. He could die while under, and he said it is also not good for the kidneys. that I didn't know.
This will tell us if it's cancer. because he said he is definately bleeding inside.
He is on some pain meds now. and also the same med for the ulcer. I just hope he starts eating.
I guess thats it. I just love him so much. but we have to do this.

Oh, Trudy, I'm sorry he's not doing well again.  I know all too well what you mean about having to do the endoscopy--you want to find out if it's something that they can fix or not.  Sending many, many prayers for Jessie James.

Sending prayers and good thoughts for heart cat Jessie. Poor baby, I hope it turns out to be something that they can fix.
Many {{hugs}} for you Trudy.

catmom5

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with all of this. I'm hoping that the endoscopy gives you the information you need to make the best decision for Jessie.
