AWWWW - great picture! I'm glad that he's doing all of those wonderful things that make us so happy (eating, peeing, pooping, etc)

Im glad to hear Scrapper seems to be stable now..thank goodness!  Let us know how the vet appt goes for both Scrapper and Trista.  I agree with the others, that pic of him in his bankie is just so precious....makes you want to give him big kisses.

I'm glad Scrapper is doing pretty good. He is so cute in his burrito! Hope the kitties do well at their check up.

Well, Trista and Scrapper were in for their vet visit today - probably have to until early next week to get blood work results back.  Things went well; Trista was very well behaved like the little lady she is and Scrapper didn't try to take the skin off anyone this time, just a few growls & hisses to let everyone know he wasn't too happy.  Good news is Trista actually has gained a wee bit of weight back, and Scrapper is at least holding steady and not dropping any more. That was a relief to hear because neither could afford to be losing any more, that's for sure. So now it's the waiting game for the results.

Yeah for good weights ! Hoping the test results are as positive &  ;D about the no attacking !

Trista...always the little lady

Scrapper......a gentleman......growls and hisses are just kitty vocabulary words for......"I want to go home"  ;D

Good news about the weights shadowmice.  :)

Fingers, toes and paws crossed  for good lab results.  Please keep us posted.

Carol

Yes...I await good lab results too!!!   Keeping all crossed here! ;)

A good vet visit is always a blessing!  Hoping for good labs, too.

shadowmice, Im glad to hear Trista has put on a little weight and Scrapper's is holding steady, thats some relief right there.  My thoughts are with you while you are waiting for the results of the labwork and am also crossing my fingers and toes that you will get some good news.  I dont know Peg, when Sophers is at the vet growling and hissing, Im pretty sure she is saying "if you come any closer I will take your arm off"...along with "I want to go home"... ;) It sounds like maybe Scrapper was saying he will take only part of a finger off? :D

Glad to hear Trista and Scrapper is doing well, pray you get a good report on the labs.

Adding my hopes for good test results!

Yeah - weight gain and holding steady! We need an icon for gaining wt. like we have for good poopies. An animated one would be great.

How did the results come out for Trista and Scrapper?

What JJ said. Is all okay? Thanks for post if you can.

Thanks for asking and sorry I hadn't checked back in with the results.

Scrapper's pheno levels were right where the vet thinks they should be and he seems to be fairly stable and predictable right now so I won't mess around with any changes. He'll still have small spells but they are typically fairly mild and pass quickly when they do happen.

Trista's thyroid level was towards the high end of the range but the vet felt it was ok to stick with the same dosage for now. I'll definitely want to have her checked again before getting the next refill on her medication to ensure she is still okay.

So far, so good. Everyone seems to be hold their own - still good appetites and all. Maybe a little more sleepytime but that may just be the weather here - I'd like to curl up for longer naps too.  ;)
