We don't know if they are stocking  the 12.5 oz cans in the B&M stores yet.  However, that may be the rollout date, but I bet they have them in stock too.

So is Wellness in Petco already? Is there a difference in price from the small stores?

It's still closer for me to get it from the small pet supply/feed store, but I usually have to make sure they order it, as they don't usually keep it in stock. That can be aggravating.  :-\

It vaires so much by store here - Down the street from me is 1.99 a can, 10 cents off for a case, must buy all the same.  Mudbay - 2.15 a can, 5% off per can, can buy 12 of anything for a discount.  Others - 2.49 a can, no discount for case.

Can anyone tell me if they think there is enough Taurine in the Wellness?

I heard a story of a cat that was on wet food her whole life and didnt have enough Taurine so she died.  This was not Wellness food they were on, it was some other food, not sure what.

Scooter & Ling, so far  have accepted being fed this at alternate meals. Ling has not had any scarf/barf problems with it. (I'll do a happy dance when MK joins them. But, all in all, an alternate wet food for these pitas is a very good thing):

So far, so good.  Gobbled down by all cats.  Will update if any issues.
Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.

Petco and Pet Supplies Plus are same price. Now Whole Foods carries wellness grain free and they had a sale at $1.79 a can for the dog food so bought several cans. Regular price is 1.99 but salmon is 2.39 to 2.49 a can and have seen that at all stores carrying Wellness grain free along with the regular wellness.
May your troubles be less,
Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door

Justme - Really interested in how the Turkey & Salmon goes.

Just bought some Chickin & Herring (I was initially confused, and thought all the seafood cans had grains).  Will slip that in the rotaion, along with a few others I will report on different thread.

More goop on top, but not a horrible lot.  About 1/8 inch from top.  Baby Girl dove right in, but the guys were not as thrilled as they used to be.  Definitely like a little warmth with their water (they are getting sssoooo spoiled).  Jimmy now finishing all of it in record time.  No ill afects to report.  Its been a week now (almost) - and Jimmy has stopped shedding all over the house.

We've been using turkey & salmon for almost a year now.  I buy it whenever the feed store has it, which is sporadically.  She just doesn't order it as turkey and chicken are her big sellers.  They like it, but they like almost everything in Wellness and Instinct (except no longer like duck).  They're piggies.  I never knew what soft fur was like until we converted to all wet food.  They get turkey almost every morning and at night usually instinct or a different flavor wellness.

Yesterday we tried Wellness Salmon and Trout.

Texture was smooth pate, can was full, with a small amount of goop around sides.

The two boys Bud and Booper ate it up well, but Pretty Girl (aka PG) only ate a small amount and soon made those "What the heck????" floor scratches.
She is picky, and much less likely to welcome a new food experience than the boys.

Everyone is doing fine and there are no problems.

Jimmy (my foregone kibble addict) - does that the most, though Siberia will sometimes too.

A.  Kitties used to do that in the wild, I know, I was raised on farm part of my life.  They bury food in the wild (or cover it up) only to come back later to eat it - which they eventually do in my hose too.  Kitties don't naturally gobble up everything at once.  That's why I personally switched from 2 meals a day to more (after measured free feeding, and watched how they ate).

B.  They don't like it.  I've never let this dissuade me (as part of the transition process).  Jimmy will do this in his "eating room".  He will everntually eat the food.  Patience and calm has led me to get them to eat.   Now - complete refusal - tells me 1) food not good for kitties - Baby Girl doesn't like too high protein kibble and 2) there might be something wrong with the food (note - this is something kitties tell me by COMPLETE REFUSAL (as in the old store bought cans of food I used to buy and throw out).  I have been VERY LUCKY that I've had no problems with taintted food that hurts my cats.

That's a good point about cats eating small amounts and then going back later to finish up. Next time PG doesn't finish a meal, I'll try offering it later to see if she'll go for it then.

Im getting quite frustrated with Wellness, everytime I go to the store they are always out of Chicken, or Turkey.  So then I have to go all over the city looking for Wellness, I always buy a case as to get the mere discount, so I cant buy just a couple of tins.  Everytime they tell me the same thing, Wellness is having problems they keep getting shorted on their orders. >:(

Since I am carlees - this has led to my benefit.  There are 2 stores I deal with (but one is down the street from me - but not walking distance - so sis has to drive me).  Find out their order dates.  Since I am paid once a month - I can order my cases ahead of time (or if purchasing single cans - that too), and they will have the order waiting for me.  At this time, I also buy my kitty litter, and their next roation of kibble.

Just a suggestion (because I went once when I still had a car - and they were out of my faves of Turkey too!!)

Consistency a little more jiucy than Chicken or Turkey.  All paws up (except Jimmy probably prefers his fish with Turkey, will have to try the Turkey and Salmon)  However, everyone finished their dishes.
